HHS Releases HIPAA & FERPA Joint Guidance

For those unfamiliar, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) are the Rules (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) that protect students' information. Today Health and Human Services release joint guidance that may be useful to those cases where school-based and health-based information bisect.
